Someone was talking to me about the things that they didn’t have. I suggested
that they do the best they could with what they had. Afterward, I realized that was
something we should always do. We should not worry about what we don’t have. We
should not worry because we don’t have enough money or time or people. We should
do the best with what we have. We should not worry about past experiences or hurts,
we should do the best with what we have.
We shouldn’t worry about what other people do, we should do the best with what we have. God made us unique people and gave us gifts to use. Some day we may give an account of our lives and it will not be about what we didn’t have. We will say, we did
the most we could with what we had.
Purpose: “The deeds you do may be the only sermon some persons will hear today.”
St. Francis of Assisi
