What Do I Do With The Parts Of The Bible I Don't Understand?

There are parts of the Bible that I really enjoy studying and preaching, like the lost sheep. I enjoy thinking about the way God will not give up on us.

There are parts of the Bible with which I agree, but I have trouble doing, like forgiving

70 x7 times.

Then, there are other parts of the Bible that I do not like. Sometimes people feel justified in killing in God’s name. I try to figure out what it means for me. Sometimes I put it aside to reconsider later.

The one thing I cannot do is erase the parts I do not like. When I don't understand parts of the Bible, it is not the time to turn away; it is time to dig deeper.
