Preparing Our Hearts for Easter

I like to hear people say good things about me. I guess everyone does. I have

a much harder time hearing the negative things about myself.

The truth is that all of us are a mixture of positive and negative. If we ignore the negative then it gets infected and grows. If we ignore the negatives then we cause damage to others without taking responsibility.

Preparing our hearts for Easter means being honest about our faults. Then God has a chance to do something with them; maybe even use those characteristics for good. Be honest with yourself and give God a chance.

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life ...Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
