I have been listening to an audio book by Victor Frankl called “Yes to Life.” You may
remember that Frankl was a psychologist who survived the death camps of World War Two Germany. He said we cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond. I knew that but I need to be reminded every so often. Our response reflects our character, not our circumstances. He also said that having a purpose in life helps us get through any difficulty. To prepare for the future we need to have character and
purpose. I know no better place to work on that than church. See you Sunday.

Purpose:
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
