Spring is a time of new life. The trees bud out; the grass starts to grow; the flowers bloom. New life means new work. Plants need to be planted and grass needs to be mowed. When every thing was dead, not much needed to be done. The same is true about new life in us. Sometimes we feel dead inside. It is not pleasant. In fact, it can be ugly. We long for something new. When it comes, it requires work on our part. We have to cultivate the new so that it lasts. We may have to dig up the old and get rid of it. Easter is a time of new life. Are you ready for the work that new life will require?
