When We Put Our Trust in God

A small group of five or six families gathered in New York before the Revolutionary war wanting to start the first Methodist chapel in that city. It still stands among the skyscrapers of New York as a testament to the staying power of the Methodist.

Small groups can do great things when they put their trust in God. Just because we are small and set in a rural area doesn’t mean we can’t do great things. We do our best and God does the rest.

Purpose:

When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it.

Leave it for the foreigner, the orphan and the widow, so that the Lord your God may

bless you in all your undertakings. Deuteronomy 24:19
